He has worked in various professional positions starting his career in Industrial Product Design and development for Home appliances division of Hawkins Inc, as Research and Design Engineer, as a System Consultant, his contribution to the business development, product and process enhancement redesign for physicians office management software for EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) for claims processing by Customware Computer Consultants.

He joined GD Searle a major Pharmaceutical Research and Development regulated by FDA , as Sr. Applications Systems Analyst and Programmer in their Research & Development Informatics organization based in Skokie Illinois and took larger responsibilities thru the merger of GD Searle, Monsanto and subsequently by Pharmacia and Pfizer, he had major contributions to the Pre-Clinical, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Analytical research organizations and led and managed enterprise R&D information system within the 1600 employee site that discovered, developed and manufactured ethical pharmaceuticals, an IT/IS liaison and a project manager, who interfaced with IT/IS Management and the clients on the project status, budget and deliverables.

He has taken leadership roles all through his career and taken greater responsibilities and challenges, his contribution which he is proud of are in the productivity increase by greater than 85% in the R&D labs, by reducing the time required to transfer chromatographic and analytical GMP/GLP data, he also designed systems for clinical -pharmaceutical batch drug release time by greater than 80%, using custom designed electronic batch review process for Quality Assurance organization thus enabling faster blockbuster medicines to the market.

He was a key architect of implementing Managed Process Technology (MPT) initiative to manage project, technology and team resources, providing management dashboard for monitoring People, Technology and resources, thus improving team productivity. This enabled the teams to finish their project earlier or on schedule and cost, thus avoiding rework and loss of productivity, enhancing the project life cycle efficiency by greater than 30%. His past contributions at Global Pfizer included leading an inter-departmental and cross-functional team to analyze, design code, quality control and implement validated quality compliance IS/IT projects, supporting the Pre-clinical, Analytical Development, Chemical Sciences and Bio-Process Technology at Skokie Pfizer R&D site. Recently, he implemented a operational knowledge management and metrics reporting initiative for Safety Adverse Event (SAE) at AMGEN.

After getting his under-graduate degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Bangalore, India, he received his post-graduate degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay India, and later received his Masters in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, USA, and in Masters in Project Management and Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management, Lincolnshire, USA.

Before founding and funding Triage Life Sciences LLC, he was working at Biogen Idec and AMGEN, managing and leading initiatives for Manufacturing, Safety and Regulatory systems and technology initiatives.
